Ordering
How do I order a custom print?
Fill out the quote request form with your file (or idea), size, quantity and any deadlines. We'll reply with a recommendation on process and material and a clear quote. Once you approve it, your project goes into the print queue.
I don't know if I need resin or FDM. Is that okay?
Absolutely, that's what we're here for. Choose "Not sure" on the form and tell us how the part will be used. You can also try our 30-second quiz or read the FDM vs Resin guide.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One-offs are welcome, and so are batches. Larger quantities of the same part can often be printed more efficiently, which we'll reflect in your quote.
Can you print something for my business or event?
Yes. Logo signs, promo items, party favors, awards and small production runs are all great fits. Mention your timeline in the quote request so we can plan printer time.
Files & designs
What file types do you accept?
STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP/STP. 3MF and STEP are great if you have them. Send the file itself or a link to it on Google Drive, Dropbox or a similar sharing service. If you didn't design it yourself, check the licensing question below first.
I don't have a 3D file. Can you still help?
Send what you've got: photos, sketches, measurements or the broken part you need to replace. We'll talk through what's possible and how to get to a printable file.
Can you print any model I find online?
No. We can only print a design for you if you created it, the designer has given permission, or it comes with a license that allows paid printing (often called a commercial or merchant license). Most free models on download sites are for personal use only, so we can't print and sell them. If you didn't design the file, include the license or the designer's permission with your quote request and we'll check it before we quote.
Will you share or reuse my design?
No. Your files are used only to print your order, and they're never shared or sold.
Printing & materials
What materials do you offer?
FDM: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, nylon and carbon-fiber blends. Resin: standard, ABS-like, tough, flexible and specialty resins (such as clear or castable). See the materials guide for strengths of each.
What colors are available?
FDM filament comes in a huge range of colors and finishes, including matte, silk and specialty blends. Resin is typically printed in neutral tones like gray, white, black or clear, which are ideal for priming and painting. Ask about specific colors in your request.
How big can you print?
It depends on the printer and process. FDM handles larger parts, and anything bigger than a single print bed can be split into sections designed to join cleanly. Include your dimensions and we'll confirm the best approach in your quote.
Will my prints come painted?
No. Prints ship unpainted and ready for you to finish: supports removed, resin parts washed and cured.
Are prints food safe?
3D-printed parts aren't certified food safe, because layer lines can trap bacteria and most materials aren't rated for food contact. Fully cured resin is safe to handle, but please don't use prints for food or drink.
Pricing & timing
How much does a custom print cost?
Every quote is based on the part itself: its size and volume, the process and material, print time, quantity and any special finishing. Small PLA items can be very affordable; large resin pieces cost more. Your quote is free, and there's no obligation.
How long will my order take?
Turnaround depends on the size of the job and what's already in the queue. Your quote includes an estimated ship date. If you have a hard deadline, like a convention, birthday or launch, tell us up front.
Can I get it faster?
Often, yes. Mention your deadline and we'll let you know what's possible.
Shipping & care
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the United States. Every order is printed and packed in Alabama, and shipping is included in your quote.
How are prints packed?
Carefully! Delicate resin pieces are individually wrapped and cushioned, and larger parts are boxed to prevent movement in transit.
What if something arrives damaged?
Contact us right away with photos of the part and the packaging, and we'll work with you to make it right.
How should I care for my prints?
Keep resin prints out of long-term direct sunlight, since UV can make them brittle and yellow over time. Keep PLA away from hot cars and dashboards because it softens with heat. ASA and PETG are much better choices for outdoor or hot locations.
