Effective October 9, 2026
The Vat & Nozzle is a small 3D print shop in Anniston, Alabama. This page explains what information we collect through thevatandnozzle.com, why we collect it and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you request a quote: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), shipping address, project details, any files or file links you send, and how you heard about us.
- When you join our mailing list: your email address.
- When you email us: whatever you include in your message.
- When you visit the site: basic technical details, like your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. Our hosting provider records these automatically to keep the site running and secure.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves a couple of small settings in your browser, such as whether you've already seen the mailing-list pop-up and what's in the shop preview cart. These stay on your device.
How we use it
- To reply to your quote request, print and ship your order, and contact you about it.
- To send our newsletter, new print announcements and promotions, only if you sign up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the website working and protect it from spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Formspree delivers quote requests to our inbox.
- Klaviyo stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS or FedEx) get your name and address so they can deliver your order.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's fonts, so Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Quote and order details: as long as we need them to handle your order and keep normal business records, such as for taxes.
- Your files: only as long as we need them for your order, unless you ask us to keep them for reprints. Ask anytime and we'll delete them.
- Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails anytime using the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us.
- See, correct or delete the information we have about you by emailing hello@thevatandnozzle.com.
- Clear the settings the site saves in your browser by clearing your browser's data for this site.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we use reputable services to handle your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
